Public conversations provide information, ideas, opinions and perspectives on matters of interest to us, to people working in schools, organisations and communities, to families, to organisations and to the wider community.

Public conversations can embrace wider audiences. Conferences, seminars and forums enable people to ‘dip into’ a wider variety of ideas and information, to gain an overview of a subject or area or to showcase their own practice.

In a written format, in hard copy or on the internet, they are a means of including people who have limited access to face to face interactions, due to distance, time or disability.

Public conversations can create and support collegiality, membership and communities of practice.

Public conversations are our business.
